1Who may use Hi Partner
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. A business may register through the person who will answer for it. One person, one account, in your real name. You are responsible for keeping your login, OTPs and start codes to yourself.
2What Hi Partner is
Hi Partner is a marketplace that connects customers with independent workers, sellers and equipment owners in the same neighbourhood. We are an intermediary and a marketplace e-commerce entity under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. We are not a party to the work, sale or rental agreed between users, we do not employ workers, and we do not guarantee the outcome of a job. We provide search, chat, bookings, optional escrow payments, reviews and support to make those dealings safe and fair.
3Zero commission and the only fee
We take no commission or percentage of any wage, sale or rental, and there is no subscription or paid bidding. Hi-Partner charges ₹0 platform fee. When you choose to pay online through the app, escrow protection is provided for mutual trust. Our other income is advertising, always labelled and never mixed into organic results. GST invoices are issued for advertising campaigns.
4Bookings, quotes and the start code
A booking is formed when a worker accepts a customer's request or a customer accepts a quote. Contact details are shared only then. On the day, the worker enters the customer's start code on arrival; that record is proof of the visit for both sides. Both confirm completion. The final price is recorded at acceptance and can be changed only by mutual confirmation in the app.
5Payments and escrow
Meet & Collect, paying in person on completion, is the default and involves no money through the platform. Online payment through UPI or cards is available only with Trusted workers and sellers. Advances paid online are held in escrow by our regulated payment partner and released to the worker on completion, or returned under the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Tips go entirely to the worker. Paying outside the agreed method to avoid a fee removes the platform's protection.
6Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Cancellation and refund rules, including timelines, are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Disputes about a booking are raised from the booking within the dispute window; support acknowledges within 24 hours and resolves within 15 days with a written decision, which can be appealed once with new evidence.
7Marketplace and rentals
Sellers and equipment owners must own or be authorised to sell or rent what they list, describe condition honestly, use photos of the actual item, and not list prohibited goods. The seller's name and the details the E-Commerce Rules require are shown on each listing or made available on request. Rentals use the in-app handover checklist; deposits and returns are recorded step by step.
8Reviews and badges
Reviews are permitted only after a completed booking or a sold deal, must be about the work, and must not be bought, traded or used to bargain. Badges and the Trusted tier are earned through verification, ratings and reliability and can be lost. We do not publish paid or fake reviews and we remove reviews that breach these terms.
9Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you upload and grant us a licence to display it within the service. Every upload is moderated before it is shown. The Rules of the neighbourhood set out prohibited conduct, which includes harassment, discrimination, fraud, illegal goods, off-platform pressure and using the service to recruit for others or harvest data. We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts for breaches, and we will tell you why and how to appeal.
10Intermediary obligations
We publish these terms and the Privacy Policy as the IT Rules, 2021 require, act on court and government orders within the statutory time, keep the records the Rules require, and have appointed a Grievance Officer whose details are on the Grievance Redressal page. Content that is unlawful, false or abusive can be reported from the item itself or to the officer.
11Partner assistant
Partner acts only on your instruction and asks for confirmation before anything that costs money or reaches another person. Its answers are aids, not professional advice. You remain responsible for the bookings, messages and tickets you confirm.
12Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. We may change features, and we will announce material changes to these terms 15 days in advance in the app and on this page. Continuing to use the service after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms; if you disagree, you may delete your account.
13Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or liability for fraud.
14Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Complaints go first to our Grievance Officer; consumers may also approach the consumer commission with jurisdiction, and the National Consumer Helpline. Subject to that, the courts in India have jurisdiction. For visitors in the EU/EEA or the UK, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
