1Retention schedule
- Account and profile: while the account is active, then 30 days after you delete it (the grace period), then erased.
- Registration information: 180 days after withdrawal or deletion, as Rule 3(1)(h) of the IT Rules, 2021 requires, then erased.
- Bookings, orders, rentals, invoices, wallet ledger and payment records: six years from the end of the financial year, as the CGST Act and company law require, then anonymised.
- Chat, voice notes and attachments: twelve months after the conversation ends, or until a related dispute closes, whichever is later, then erased.
- Precise location: used for the feature you triggered and not stored as a history; approximate zone is kept with the profile.
- ID verification documents: erased 90 days after the verification result is recorded; the result and a hash are kept with the account.
- Reviews: kept with the booking they belong to; on account deletion the author's name is replaced by "a former user".
- Support tickets, grievances and decisions: three years, for appeals and regulatory review.
- Audit and security logs: one year, then erased.
- Partner assistant history and memory: until you delete them, or with the account; you can clear them at any time from Profile → Partner.
2How deletion works
Delete your account from Profile → Privacy, or from the account deletion page on this site if you no longer have the device. Access ends at once. During the 30-day grace period you can sign in to cancel the deletion. After it, personal data is erased from live systems and from backups within a further 30 days, except the records listed above that the law requires us to keep, which are isolated and used for nothing else. We confirm completion by email or SMS.
3Anonymisation
Records we must keep after deletion are stripped of direct identifiers where the law allows, so that statistics about bookings or payments no longer identify you.
4Processors
Every processor is contractually bound to delete or return personal data at the end of its service and to follow this schedule for data it holds on our behalf.
